*IMPP offers continuing education and psychoanalytic certification credits for its program courses. These credits are not equivalent to university (academic) credits. As such, they generally are not accepted as credits leading to a degree or license renewal. Check with your university or state licensing agency for further clarification regarding acceptability of these credits toward degree or license.
Psychoanalytic Accreditation
IMPP’s Psychoanalytic Certification program is accredited by the American Board for Accreditation in Psychoanalysis. To continue to meet nationally accepted training standards, ABAP recently introduced Core Competencies criteria which IMPP has begun to incorporate into the curriculum.
Accreditation by ABAP is eligible for all psychoanalytic programs within and not beyond US boundaries and territories.

Continuing Education Accreditation
IMPP is an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), ACEP # 6637. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. IMPP is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. Participants are eligible to earn CE hours based on the number of classes/ groups attended and completion of a brief course evaluation.
