The Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis joined the Psychotherapy Action Network (PsiAN) in 2020 as a Strategic Partner, adding to the roster of organizations, including APsaA, AAPCSW, Division 32, Division 39, and many institutes and community mental health agencies, that have endorsed PsiAN.

PsiAN is a global community of mental health professionals and stakeholders dedicated to promoting psychotherapies of insight, depth and relationship.  PsiAN aims to restore these therapies to their fundamental place in the mental health landscape through education and advocacy regarding their personal, economic, and sociocultural effectiveness in alleviating suffering and transforming lives.

Our ability to expand our active engagement with diverse communities, lawmakers, and institutions on behalf of psychotherapies of depth, insight, and relationship, can also lead to an expanded sense of self and analytic identity.

We at PSP ask that you consider joining PsiAN as an individual.  Please also share with your networks — institutes, organizations, individuals — and ask them to join PsiAN as well.  There is a lot of work to do to overcome the marginalization of the treatment we offer. Supporting PsiAN supports us all!

Membership is free, and you can join here: Join PsiAN.
